Awesome show: World's strictest parents! - DogForum.net

They have taken two brats and put with a pair of parents who are STRICT!
and wow, can you say culture clash, they had these kids sit on timeout in the sun, doing push ups, taking their cell phones. Im sitting here laughing, the show isnt over yet so I don't know if the kids are learning yet. but its very interesting to see... it's on CMT I can highly recomend it..

Well according to my two kids they had the strictest parents in the world.

Hey do are doing casting for next season

maybe you should sign up? I've said it before and i say it again I will never have kids.. my mother always told me Id change my opinion when I was 30.. well... Im 30 since a few weeks and I have not changed my mind. I rather play with others and then return them to their parents.

and now Im being curious/nosey, are you strict? and what do they concider strict? you should prolly let them see the show and see what they say after *lol*

Oh both are off on their own adventures now, son is married while our daughter is living with her guy. They won't let me tough the remote anymore so heh heh, I have much less power over them.

I don't think I was strict. My dad was a drill Sergeant so I might be jaded there. I enforced some stuff, have a phone and call if your late, work ethic, value of a dollar, but stuff like hair and clothing we let them go their own way.

I think all kids figure they had it rough until they have kids.

My wife's sister never had kids. She is a very dear aunt though. My kids have spent time with her out on the west coast. She spoils them but she is a good teacher.

Excelent show Monkey

There's another programme on this week sadly only in the uk. But it's going to be good. I think strictness is very important in raising children along with love and guidance. My parents were strict and my grandparents were too and along with my schools.. it hasn't done me any harm. We are to lax now a days and that's why there's many problems with todays children. I get fed up of the usual excuses there's nothing to do at night,etc, etc. When I was child you made your own fun you had to use your imagination. I am so glad I am not starting off live in todays society.

On Channel 4 tonight in the Uk at 8pm - 9pm is Joe Frost: Extreme Parental Guidance on tonights show it's video nastie games, so we will see how these affect young children.

i ahve heard of this show, and i watch it all the time. whats funny is that of my and my sis, we both agree that i would be the one of the two of us who would most likely end up on that show...

and to vambo, i am sure that every kid thinks that they have the worlds strictest parents... i think i do... they wont even le me date until im a senior! i mean really?!

vambo ahh.. don't sound too strict sounds pretty normal in my book.
I dont know my parents werent that strict.. I was left home alone at the age of 5-6 for an hour here and there. I was always an easy going kid.

and big boy I AM SO with you on that one.. Todays society its jsut getting worse by the minute!

Thanks Monkey at the end of the day the government is trying and often failing in various schemes that have been tried and with interference from Brussels hasn't helped IMO. My Grandmother who was strict was also one of the best as well. Bless her soul. She would stand for no nonesense and what she said goes no argument no if's or but's. and built like a brick out house

Parents should be strict , just like us and our dogs . We would be in big trouble if we had the amount of control over our dogs that these parents have over thier children .

If I had kids , which there is no way I would do that- not sure why anyone would do something that would make it so you can't have a loded gun sitting arround - must be the tax breaks ,anyway they would be brought up under N.I.L.I.F , no workie - no eatie , no cleanie - no drinkie , talk backie - smack mouthie
